Welcome to the Nasim al-Wasl Audio Library. Here you will find various renditions for each qasida listed by primary maqam, mirroring the layout of the book. Page numbers are also provided to help you follow along.
Each qasida has a dedicated and easy-to-learn recording, sung by Sidi Abdul Rahman Shaar, former lead vocalist of the public dhikrs at the Nur al-Din Shahid (Nuriyya) and Ward Mosques, Damascus.
Following the main audio you’ll enjoy historically sourced renditions of the same qasida, ranging from the 1950s to the present day, across Damascus, Aleppo, Amman, Irbid, and Zarqa—Levantine gatherings of the Hashimi-Darqawi Order.
Secondary melodies (where the same qasida can be sung on one or more different tune) are also provided for further enrichment.
